Unique handcrafted nails made of iron heated with carbon,dating back to 18th and 19th century.Manufactured by blacksmiths from small domestic workshops,in order to decorate front doors.

The shape of the nail had the benefit of four sharp edges on the shank which cut deep into timber and the tapered shank provided friction down it’s full length.

Legend has it that they are call “bloodnails”because they were used when Jesus was crucified 2020 years ago.

Made from gold of 18K.
